Travel Tinuku ~ Praiyawang Village is a oldest kingdoms village in the Marapu land who hold fast to old culture in Rindi sub-district, Rindi District, East Sumba regency, East Nusa Tenggara. Very friendly villagers in eastern of Waingapu city, Sumba island, preserving the atmosphere of megalithic civilization since entering as the oldest complex in East Sumba surrounded by stone wall and traaditional houses lined neatly.

Traditional houses are characterized by the towering roof of central part. Each house has a head and horrn buffalo under the door. Uma Bakulu or Big House as a place of special rituals such as the death of the king, Uma Ndewa used exclusively for the shave ritual for children newborn king, while Uma Kopi as the coffee house.

Cultural heritage also to save the relics of ancestors such as gongs, drums and traditional clothes which have hundreds of years but well maintained. Each house has 3 parts is the first floor reflecting the spirits of underworld, the second floor is middle world or human life and the third floor is the world's top or place of the gods.

In the middle of village lined rows of megalithic tombs weighing up to 5 tons of the nobles with sculptures full of meaning. The top of grave has animal symbol carving hung up. Carving a meaningful symbol or work for the behavior of people during lifetime. Some graves have various animal carvings because that person certainly has diverse nature.

The women weave fabric as custom clothing, daily clothing and to wrap the dead with predominance of red and indigo blue. All colors made from natural materials, woven with skill, put the motif of East Sumba and each fabric can take up to several months.

Kabokang dance present for important events. Traditional dance to remind the king to always be honest and fair lead, as well as dance to welcome the birth of a baby or preparation ceremony to go to war. The dancers use Hinggi Kombu cloth is a sheet to cover body and the piece of scarf.
