Mahangetang mountain has a history as the volcano's surface has peaks as high as 400 meters above sea level before declining. In 1800s the peak just to stay 90 meters above sea level. Routes and public transport: All flights to Naha Airport in Tahuna city, Sangihe island, or to Sam Ratulangi International Airport in Manado city. Then use a speedboat to Banua Wuhu volcano.

Advice: Do not touch anything to avoid blistered hands. The divers are advised only to depth of 20 meters and leave the water if temperature gets higher. Bring a friend or diving guides. March to November is the best time where a wave of calm water.
