Tinuku Travel ~ Penglipuran village is a traditional village in Kubu sub-district, Bangli district, Bangli regency, Bali, where people still apply tradition in everyday life. The village on a plateau 800 meters above sea level has an area of 112 hectares and only 40 percent of it is used as a settlement, the rest are plantations, fields and bamboo forests.

Layout of the building and the main road leading to the holy temple in the middle of village to express the wisdom of indigenous peoples. Each house has a gate and a lot of purebred kintamani dogs happy to sit at the front. Inside the complex each house always has a small temple as a place of prayer for homeowners. Barns and halls as a place to entertain guests or travelers who stop, some of which serve as shops and stalls.

Village implement strong rules that forbid husband to marry more than one or polygamy. If a man caught polygamous will receive sanctions are excluded from society. The village also has a culture of punishment for theft, a thief sentenced to give offerings five chickens with different feathers colors in four temples of their ancestors.

The concept of the arrangement in Penglipuran is not separated from the traditions and cultures that have historically been upheld by the local community.
