Tour de Flores, watch the annual cycling race on a beautiful island and exotic cultures

Tinuku Travel ~ Tour de Flores is a road cycling race championships on Flores Island, East Nusa Tenggara, and lasts for several days as the official agenda of UCI Asia Tour class. The annual sports event have start in Larantuka and finish in Labuan Bajo for a distance of more than 660 kilometers in six stages over five days.

Tour de Flores held on the island of Flores presenting the world-class sports show while enjoying the beauty of exotic island along spectacular beaches, the heterogeneity of ethnicity, culture, megalithic tradition, language, religion, fauna endangered Komodo dragon (Varanus romodoensis and Varanus riungensis), Lake Kelimutu, Pink Beach and others.

Six stages run through all the islands area of 14,300 square kilometers in various temperatures. Flores has two seasons, but each region has a temperature difference that gives riders a real challenge.

Tour de Flores passing track road along more than 660 kilometers in six stages. Stage 1 is Larantuka - Maumere, Stage 2 Maumere - Ende, Stage 3 Ende - Bajawa, Stage 4 Bajawa - Borong, Stage 5 Borong - Ruteng and Stage 6 Ruteng - Labuan Bajo.

Tracks race past the north coast, the mountains and the southern coast. The roads are winding so the riders and visitors get treats natural scenery is not monotonous. Tour de Flores invites the King of Mountain competed in Watuneso-Wolowaru, Wolowaru-Moni and Borong-Ruteng.
