High tide is the main stage for dancing. Paryanta Pesek, chairman Dolphin Parangtritis Surf Club (DPSC), will welcome the surfers to the waves crashing into and read the direction of the wind to get the most powerful surf spot as the main stage for the Indian Ocean crashing.

"To surf here should understand the character of the coast, where the trough, where the reef and how to avoid the trough. The waves looked calm means that there trough appears," said Pesek.

Located about 27 kilometers from the city of Yogyakarta, high dunes stretching along the coast. Visitors ride buggy, horse, ATV bike to explore the sand Parangtritis. If want a relaxed atmosphere can sit on the beach while enjoying the coconut ice and snacks typical of Bantul.

On the east coast is Bukit Parang Endog that hides the ruins of a temple. Candi Gembirawati just a few hundred meters from the beach and reached by passing through the ramp near Queen of the South Beach Resort. In the area of the temple sounded faint rumbling south ferocious sea waves.

Routes and public transport: If taking the bus from Yogyakarta to the Giwangan Bus Terminal, then to Parangtritis location.
